Synthetic Steel Wool (5-Pack)

Our Synthetic Steel Wool Sheets are also known as "Pipe Prep Pads" and measure 4.5" x 6". They are non-abrasive, developed with the input of restoration professionals and polishers to better serve your needs.

Synthetic Steel Wool is ideal for removing surface contaminants from tailpipes, chrome tubing, and polished metals prior to using a liquid metal polish. Synthetic Steel Wool Sheets are reusable and will not rust, splinter, or shred like conventional steel wool does. Additionally, the flexible hand-sized sheets will conform around the shape of the work surface and is soft enough to prevent unwanted stock/material removal.

These Synthetic Steel Wool Sheets can also be used along with our White Lines Whitewall Tire Cleaner. The scuff strips will help work the cleaners and abrasives into the white surfaces of your tires--including the whitewalls, tire lettering, and trim.

Aside from smoothing out your whitewalls, it will help to remove scuffs, grease stains, and other surface contaminants to help make sure that your whitewalls are as clean as the rest of your ride.
