Nissan's intake tract on the 350Z, G35, and FX35 uses a restrictive paper filter, sound-deadening baffles, and a corrugated plastic tube that prioritizes cabin silence over driver feedback. The result: the VQ's signature induction growl is completely muted, and airflow takes a hit at high RPM.

The Flashark Sport Air Intake Kit replaces the factory intake tract with a black powder-coated aluminum mandrel-bent intake tube and a high-flow dry filter, paired with a steel heat shield. Installation

Removal of the factory air box is required. Installation can typically be completed in less than 60 minutes using standard hand tools. After installation, disconnect and reconnect your battery for a few seconds to allow the ECU to re-learn the increased airflow. Always disconnect your battery when performing engine work.
