• Intended for high output/low distortion professional applications, the Selenium D3505Ti-Nd 2" exit compression driver features a high flux density neodymium magnetic assembly with copper shorting ring. This motor design reduces distortion and minimizes the high frequency roll off caused by voice coil self-inductance.

• Even more compact than its sibling the D3501Ti-Nd, the D3505Ti-Nd is more than 1" shallower and features a "fast expansion" throat. This carefully calculated aperture helps keep distortion low and maintains the flattest possible response to 20 kHz. The driver's great overall performance is also attributable to the pure titanium diaphragm's embossed "snowflake" pattern and IPF (Impregnated Polymer Fiber) surround.

• An optimized aluminum injected phase plug minimizes phase cancellation, while the finned aluminum rear cover adds strength and an additional opportunity to control heat buildup The CCAW (copper clad aluminum wire) voice coil is wound on a high temperature polyamide former. Selenium's DPD (Driver Protection Device) circuit utilizes a PTC and a HPCCR resistor, assuring greater reliability when the driver is subjected to overload conditions and abuse. A precisely engineered dome/coil structure and alignment mechanism guarantees fast, easy field repair in the rare event of a diaphragm failure.

• The D3505Ti-Nd is recommended for use in concert touring loudspeakers, stage monitors, and other high output speaker systems. Its small size makes it useful for the design and construction of ultra-compact enclosures or line arrays. The D3505Ti-Nd's 4-bolt pattern facilitates mounting on industry-standard 2" throat horns.
