Description

If you are looking to strengthen the Dana 35 or Dana 44 in the rear of your Jeep TJ or LJ Wrangler, or needing to convert the rear suspension to a triangulated 4 link this is the axle truss for you. This truss was designed to be dual purpose, the truss can be used alone to help prevent the axle housing in the rear of your Jeep from bending, or with the addition of the triangulated upper control arm mounts a custom upper triangulated 4 link suspension can be built (with additional components) and the rear track bar can be deleted. This truss is manufactured from a combination of 1/4 inch and 3/16 inch steel for strength and longevity. The optional upper control arm mounts are fabricated from 1/4 inch steel and feature a 2 inch mounting width and a 9/16 inch bolt hole. The components of this kit will ship unassembled and will require welding for assembly and installation, painting or powder coating will be required after installation.

This kit is designed to be used on the Dana 44 or Dana 35 rear axle found in 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ models

Relocation of the rear axle vent may be required by drilling and tapping a new hole in the axle tube

Relocation of the hard brake lines on the rear axle will be required

Due to the variations in castings slight grinding may be required to achieve desired fit

If converting to triangulated uppers during installation new frame mounts, and custom upper control arms will be required
