We’re taking it to another level with the ultimate race-ready upgrade guaranteed to shave even more time off every pull.
The new EVP Steering Wheel Launch Button kit is a must-have addition for any 2017+ X3 equipped with EVP 2-Step Launch Control tuning. This setup allows you to choose whether launch control is activated by the brake pedal, or steering wheel button activation. Most people have faster reaction time with their thumb because of the small movement it takes to release the button versus the few inches of foot/leg movement to come off the brake. This precious time savings can net a .1 second or more off your reaction which helps get you to the finish line first! When winners and losers are separated by .001 seconds sometimes, every microsecond counts.
The Launch Button kit includes two separate carbon fiber mounting faceplates for compatibility with both the OEM steering wheel as well as the EVP.MOde Steering Wheel and optional Quick-Release Hub Adapter. The lightweight and durable carbon fiber faceplates feature streamlined designs to avoid interference with the driver while also keeping the launch button placement in an ideal, easy-to-engage position. Kits also include an additional rocker switch to toggle between Button and Brake launch control engagement.
