Ce filtre est doté de trois couches de média synthétique sans huile et ne nécessite aucune huile pendant l'entretien pour offrir un confort maximal. Sa stratification progressive offre une grande efficacité de filtration et une grande capacité de rétention de la poussière. Ce média est le mieux adapté à une utilisation sur route. Les filtres à air hautes performances aFe POWER utilisent une conception de plis arrondis et uniformément espacés qui permet une plus grande surface de filtre utilisable, offrant un débit accru et une plus grande capacité de rétention de la poussière. Cette surface d'étanchéité souple s'adapte même au boîtier de filtre le plus irrégulier, ce qui permet un ajustement parfait du filtre et une surface d'étanchéité à chaque fois. Cette conception élimine l'utilisation de joints ou de produits d'étanchéité et revient toujours à sa forme d'origine. Tous les filtres à air hautes performances à panneau plat aFe POWER sont construits avec un cadre en polyuréthane à 360 degrés. Contrairement à d'autres matériaux qui se dégradent après des cycles de chaleur répétés dans un compartiment moteur, le polyuréthane conserve sa forme moulée d'origine.
