NA applications: This should be used when adding boost to your naturally aspirated engine or when your boost levels are above your factory MAP sensor range for proper tuning. This is a 4 bar MAP sensor that will directly replace your factory 1 or 2 bar MAP sensor (depending on model of car) with no cutting or splicing. This will require PCM tuning when it is used as an upgrade in a car that didn't come with this sensor from the factory.
Tune tweaks:
Map sensor Linear reads 94.4 in the stock 2.2/2.4 ECU file and this needs to be changed to 424.99. The KPA offset is 10.3 stock and should be changed to -32.50.
This is a direct plug in for the 08-10 LE5 and 07-10 2.2. If you have an older one, the 2 bar MAP sensor is the one you want. 09-10 XFE Cobalt's/LAP Cobalt's may require a 3 bar map sensor found here. Please check your plug to confirm.
This is OEM stock replacement for the '11+ LHU/LTG Regal 2.0L turbo, '13-14 LTG ATS (intake manifold sensor, not charge pipe), and '13+ CTS 2.0L Turbo (intake manifold sensor, not charge pipe).
