2007-2024 Cummins 6.7L Killer Grid Heater Upgrade Kit (1041520)

The Killer Grid Heater Upgrade Kit is purpose-built to address a major flaw in the 6.7L Cummins engine that can result in total engine destruction. The problem lies in the electrical connection to the intake grid heater. When powering the grid heater, 200 amps pass through a small bolt and nut inside the intake and over time is known to deteriorate and eventually arc and break off. This nut drops into the engine, leading to extensive damage to the piston, head, and valves. There are several solutions currently on the market addressing this issue, but they are very costly upgrades, they drastically reduce the amount of heat available to the engine and typically require tuning or don't work well in cold climates.
