Why Would You Need A Hot Side Intercooler Tube?
To explain why our Hot-Side Intercooler pipe is a crucial piece of equipment, lets first start with the issues with the factory hotside intercooler tube. The factory Hot Side Pipe doesnt work the best, now dont get us wrong it works. However, it can be better and thatžs exactly what HSP Diesel did. The angles of the factory pipe are not conducive to a flow that minimizes turbulence, it also has connections that dont always hold under even normal conditions, and lets be honest the raw factory look just isnt the best look for under the hood.

What Does the HSP Hot Side Intercooler Pipe Do Differently?
To start, the HSP Hot Side Intercooler Pipe is made from a 3 mandrel-bent tube. The reason we did this is to increase the flow but also because we were able to make sweeping style bends. The sweeping style bends allow the air to flow more freely (up to 40%) and as we all know the less turbulence we have in the air flowing through the tube the more power we can make and the safer we can make that power. Another thing that HSP Diesel has done that has made a massive difference over the stock pipe is we took the prone to fail factory lower intercooler boot and made a straight style connection to the intercooler, this removes the possibility of an issue with the silicone boot and removes a failure point giving you more reliability and peace of mind. With all of those changes we get a few add ons that happen, we notice a difference in engine and turbo sounds. We get a crisper more distinct tone with our Hot Side Intercooler Pipe installed. HSP Diesel also offers this Hot Side Intercooler pipe in a variety of colors and even custom colors, this gives you some engine bay clean up and color.
