Upgrade your 12V Cummins engine with stronger pushrods for enhanced performance and durability. Stock 3/8 diameter pushrods, nearly 11 inches long, lack sufficient strength beyond stock use. OEM pushrods can’t handle excessive stress from increased valve train loads. Choose from our 3/8 and 7/16 diameter 3-piece pushrods for improved column strength and stability.
Crafted from 4130/4135 seamless Chromoly tubing, our pushrods offer various heat-treating options and come standard with billet steel tip ends. CNC machined from 86L20 bar stock, the tips are core hardened and triple tempered for durability, enhancing overall valve train performance. Our engineering versatility ensures compatibility with your specific engine combination.
We engineer pushrods to fit the largest possible diameter without causing binding with cylinder head ports. The 7/16 diameter tubing provides nearly double the loading capacity before deflection, making it ideal for Cummins engines. Opt for our Series 5 pushrods in competition engines for improved strength and performance.
Series 5 pushrods offer 105,000 p.s.i. additional tensile strength over Series 3, enhancing valve timing accuracy and reducing surging. Proven durable in top fuel, sprint cars, and marine champions year after year. For custom engine modifications, use our pushrod length checking tools to maintain stock rocker geometry and ensure optimal valve tip contact.
