TekShack LD500-MOS Linear Amplifier

Built in the USA by Rocketbox, the TekShack LD500-MOS is a rugged low drive CW transmitter engineered for high-efficiency RF transmission across 26–30 MHz. This 500-watt amplifier is designed for export, industrial, and scientific applications, offering stable performance with selectable power levels and a built-in preamp.

The LD500-MOS is compatible with AM, FM, SSB, and CW modes, and operates on a 12–14.5V DC power supply with a 50A current draw. The unit requires a dead key input of 2–4 watts and allows a maximum PEP swing input of 15 watts. A well-tuned antenna with an SWR of 1.5 or less is mandatory for safe and effective operation.
