Each SunCoast 6R140 is hand-assembled, vacuum-tested, and fitted with upgraded internals including carbon graphite clutches, billet components, and precision-machined steels to guarantee consistent performance.

Variants

• 6R140 Guardian (450HP) – Heavy-duty reliability for stock or lightly modified trucks. With or without converter (2WD/4WD).
• 6R140 CAT 1 (500HP) – Stronger clutch packs, custom machined steels, improved 4-5-6 overdrive, with or without converter (2WD/4WD).
• 6R140 CAT 2 (550HP) – Built for higher output, includes SunCoast patented damper, billet upgrades, with or without converter (2WD/4WD).
• 6R140 CAT 3 (650HP) – Flexplate and Mag-Hytec deep pan included, engineered for higher horsepower builds (2WD/4WD, with/without converter).
• 6R140 CAT 4 (750HP+) – Extreme duty transmission with billet intermediate shaft, billet clutch hub, and converter options (2WD/4WD, flexplate options).
