Description
Description
Our Satin Airway Buffing Wheel is a must-have when restoring hazy metals subjected to the elements, such as wheels. It's a great follow-up to our Surface Prep Buff and Blend Discs, as it works to blend and feather in the lines that may be left from the initial cutting. Satin Airway Buffing Wheels are also a perfect lead-in to our Orange and Yellow Airway Buffing Wheels, lending a finish comparable to a blended 220 grit/320 grit sanding before polishing.
Our Ultra-Fine Black Satin Airway Buffing Wheel is a must-have when restoring hazy metals subjected to the elements, such as wheels. The Ultra-Fine Black Satin Airway Buffing Wheel is meant as a follow-up to our Maroon Satin Buffing Wheel, as it works to blend and feather in the lines that may be left from the initial surface prep process. The Ultra-Fine Black Satin Airway Buffing Wheels are also a perfect lead-in to polishing with our Orange and Yellow Airway Buffing Wheels (or Red and Pink Airway Buffing Wheels on steel) , lending a finish that is equivalent to a blended 400 grit/600 grit sanding before polishing.
The combination of the Maroon Satin Buffing Wheel and the Ultra-Fine Black Satin Airway Buffing Wheel is meant to eliminate the need for conventional sanding discs in most cases--cutting your prep time and your cost.
Satin Buffing Wheels should be used at no higher than 2200 RPMs.
Our Airway Buffing Wheels should ALWAYS be mounted with a set of safety flanges to reinforce the center of the buffing wheel.
