Description
Replacement high-flow air filter and prefilter for EVP High-Flow Intake (HFI) Kits for Can-Am Maverick X3 models.
The EVP intake filter system is constructed of the finest paper filter material that outperforms and is far safer for your vehicle compared to synthetic filters with oil that get caked with sand, dirt and other debris.
Our air filters trap the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze 'performance' filters or the OEM's can't capture. This product includes our custom Prefilter which is designed to keep out particles of dirt and sand debris as small as .005". Our filters run dry meaning no oils or additives are required. Additionally, our Pre-filters add a second level of protection. The woven mesh is specially treated using a proprietary process to repel water. This hydrophobic water repellent process is not sprayed on; consequently there is virtually no airflow loss.
- NOT A COMPLETE KIT - REPLACEMENT COMPONENT ONLY
- Superior filtration system over OEM & other performance style air filters
- Includes replacement EVP HFI air filter and prefilter for use with EVP Stock, Dynomite, & Desert Storm HFI Kits (full kit sold separately)
FITMENT
2017-2022 All Can-Am Maverick X3 Models (EXCEPT XMR) equipped with the EVP HFI Kit
MAINTENANCE
- Air filter maintenance should be adjusted according to riding conditions
- Air filter maintenance must be increased in frequency when riding on snow, dry sand, dirt, gravel, or similar conditions that have a high dust or particle dispersion
- Riding in a group in these conditions will require increasing the air filter maintenance frequency further.
- Inspect the filter for any signs of leaks. A streak of dust on the clean side of the filter is a telltale sign. Replace filter if there is any damages. Eliminate any source of air leaks before installing a new filter. Clean engine air filter by tapping out heavy dust from paper element, this will allow dirt and dust to get out of the paper filter.
