Description
- Mother Clutcher Heavy Duty complete secondary clutch made bolt-on ready for all 2019-2020 Ranger 1000 XP models crew cab models. This also fits 2018-2020 Ranger 1000 XP single cab models.
- Comes pre-balanced and pre-tuned with correct helix and spring already installed.
- This clutch is designed so can be ran next to our upgrade to P90XT primary clutch OR next to the stock primary clutch. It still uses the original belt type.
- These have been tested and made sure to have smooth and responsive performance.
- This secondary is backed by Harvey's ATV Parts no exceptions 1-year warranty.
UPDATED FEATURES:
- There are three critical areas improved on this clutch compared to the problematic OEM secondary that the listed models came with. First, the stock main housing was weak and hard to balance. This has a reinforced lip on the main housings outer sheave as seen in the last picture which provided us with a better place that we pre-balanced it, and also that reinforced lip added strength to the clutch.
- Second, the stock setup was plagued with engine braking issues that are known to eat belts and then eventually the clutches. The fix for that is the included reduced EBS slope in the helix that provides a noticeably milder but still usable engine braking in low gear when you let off the throttle.
- Last but not least, the stock machine came with some tiny tires. If or when going up in tire size it's important to add more belt grip for it not to be harder on your CVT belt with the bigger tires. This comes with a 30lb stiffer than stock spring and a steeper helix slope already in it for maximum belt grip for if you did decide to put on some bigger tires (still works well with stock tires also).
