Our wheel bearings are the highest quality replacements available. Exclusively from Kryptonite and designed to handle higher stresses put on your UTV from larger tires and performance upgrades. Distinctive ball and taper bearing arrangement. Reduced deflection of hub face provides better braking and handling. Improved steering accuracy and behavior. What is preload and why is it so important?

    *Preload sets a constant pressure on the bearings preventing the inner and outer race from moving independently from each other (walking). Bearings set without being preloaded will allow the outer race to walk in and out of alignment with the inner race. Walking will damage the bearing journals ultimately leading to a failure which can echo into the bearing carrier if left unchecked. In this instance the wheel/tire will rock freely when the suspension is unloaded. When this is occurring you may feel excessive vibration/chatter when driving.
