Barnes 4wd is proud to introduce our 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ Rear Frame Brackets Suspension Stretch kit! This kit is designed to provide the trail capable wheelbase that your Jeep Wrangler needs, up to 106 inches with the complete kit. With this kit you can move the rear axle back up to 8 inches.
- This kit consists of rear shock towers, bump stop relocation brackets, and all other necessary components to stretch your rear axle up to 8 inches back from the factory location. Making room for those big tires and a better departure angle for those big drops.
- These kits are compatible with our TJ and LJ 3 and 4 link subframe kit (longer links will be required)
- These kits are compatible with most of our TJ and LJ axle swap kits (triangulated uppers on the rear axle are required)
Rear frame bracket kit highlights
- Frame side brackets to stretch your wheelbase up to 8 inches
- This kit is designed to be used with coilover shocks, air shocks, or ORI shocks
- Significant modifications to the frame are required including cutting, grinding, and welding
- Rear track bar will be deleted, triangulated upper suspension is required
- This kit is not compatible with the OEM fuel tank, our stretch fuel tank is designed to be used with this kit
- A 1 inch body lift is recommended to minimize sheet metal trimming and provide room for more suspension uptravel
- New longer control arms are required
