The outer edge of the tire has a high void to rubber ratio which offers extreme off-road traction when it's time to venture off the pavement.

The balance between the larger blocks in the center of the tire and the open shoulder working together is what makes the Country Hunter MTII truly special. The larger blocks in the center provide a quieter ride and leave less space for debris while the more spaced out open shoulder edge provides improved off-road handling with the added benefit of ejecting stones.
