The Jeep Compass and Patriot share the same World engine — a 2.0L or 2.4L inline-four — and the same problem: a factory intake built for cost, not airflow. The stock plastic airbox chokes the engine at highway speeds, makes throttle response feel lazy, and costs you MPG on every tank.
Flashark's cold air intake fixes all three. A full 3.0" mandrel-bent T-6061 aluminum tube replaces the restrictive factory plumbing. Tube diameter remains consistent through every bend — no pinching, no turbulence — so the MAF sensor receives a clean, laminar airflow signal every time. The sealed steel heat shield isolates the filter from engine bay heat, keeping intake temps 15–20°F cooler than stock. The dry, washable cone filter delivers more airflow without the risk of oil contamination that can wreck MAF sensors on these engines.
No CEL. No tune. No idle hunting. The installation takes about an hour with basic hand tools — every bracket, coupler, and clamp is in the box.
