Unfortunately, thats exactly what the stock piece does. The factory inlet is cramped and angular compared to Banks larger, streamlined cast-metal High-Ram. Banks High-Ram intake flows air much more efficiently, providing greater boost without the drawback of raising turbine backpressure.
