Description
Description
Far From Stock — Billet Wheel Adapter (8×6.5″ ↔ 8×6.5″, 14×1.5 Studs, 121.4 mm Hub)
Built the FFS way—true, strong, and centered—for Ram HD trucks running the classic 8×6.5″ pattern with a 121.4 mm hub bore. These billet adapters use 14×1.5 studs and are available in multiple thicknesses to dial in stance and clearance without changing bolt pattern. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet.
Must order two for a pair. Pricing is for one wheel adapter only.
Vehicle Fitment (YMM)
Designed for 8×6.5″ (8×165.1 mm) bolt pattern, 14×1.5 studs, and ~121.4 mm hub bore.
| Make | Model | Years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ram (Dodge) | Ram 2500 (SRW) | 2012–2018 | 8×6.5″ PCD, M14×1.5 studs, hub bore ≈ 121.3–121.4 mm. |
| Ram (Dodge) | Ram 3500 (SRW) | 2012–2018 | 8×6.5″ PCD, M14×1.5 studs, hub bore ≈ 121.3–121.4 mm. Note: many 2019+ trims switch to 8×200 (not compatible). |
Thread split: Earlier Ram HD (≈1994–2011) commonly used 9/16-18 studs on 8×6.5″. This adapter is for M14×1.5 only.
Always verify bolt pattern, hub bore, and stud size for your exact trim before ordering.
Key Features
- Precision 6061-T6 billet construction for strength and true runout
- Hub-centric to ~121.4 mm for proper wheel centering on Ram HD hubs
- M14×1.5 press-in studs for heavy-duty clamping force
- Same-pattern adapter: 8×6.5″ ↔ 8×6.5″ (no bolt-pattern conversion)
- Multiple thickness options to set stance and clearances
Why these outperform generic spacers
Stronger than Cast — Machined from 6061-T6 Billet
- 6061-T6 aluminum: Toughness and fatigue resistance for real-work trucks.
- True hub & wheel centering: Correct piloting reduces vibration and shares load properly.
- Precision machining: Tight runout and concentricity for highway-speed stability.
- High-strength hardware: M14×1.5 studs and matching nuts for robust clamping.
- OEM geometry preserved: Same-pattern 8×6.5″ keeps correct mating alignment.
Install Notes
- Verify fitment: Confirm 8×6.5″ PCD, M14×1.5 studs, and hub bore ~121.3–121.4 mm on your truck.
- Check wheel bore: Ensure your wheel centers properly on the adapter’s hub lip (match seat style cone/flat).
- Prep hub: Safely lift and secure vehicle; remove wheel. Clean hub face and bore of rust/paint/debris.
- Test-fit adapter: Slide adapter onto hub; verify full, even seating (no gaps).
- Secure adapter: Install nuts on factory studs; tighten in a star pattern to the manufacturer torque spec.
- Mount wheel: Place wheel on adapter studs; install lug nuts and tighten in a star pattern to spec.
- Spin & clearance check: Rotate by hand to verify no contact with calipers, suspension, or fenders.
- Re-torque: After 50–100 miles, re-torque adapter and wheel nuts to spec; check periodically.
Follow the torque specs and seat style required by your wheels and owner’s manual.
