SPE has developed our solution around a large billet chunk of aluminum. The billet 2 piece design uses the factory mounting positions. The halves are sealed by an o-ring not a gasket or sealant. SPE also changed to a standard vent cap for ease of replacement and also safety. The lever cap we use allows the customer to vent the system even when hot if needed. It also vents safely out of the side of the bottle under head gasket failure or other over pressurizing situations instead of all over the engine bay.
