This pump plate is a must do on any 68RFE rebuild. We started with a custom laser cut steel alloy plate which is then heat treated to insure flatness and hardness. We then applied our proprietary friction reducing and self-lubricating electrostatically applied coating. This coating reduces pump wear from the pump gears by decreasing surface friction and increasing lubrication during dry startups.
