The stock downpipe routes exhaust through a tightly packed catalytic converter with a crush-bent neck-down that chokes flow at the most critical point in the entire exhaust system: right where the turbo meets the rest of the exhaust. That restriction raises exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), slows turbo spool, caps midrange torque, and puts a ceiling on what your tuner can safely extract from the VR30.

This Flashark 2.625-inch (66.5 mm) catless downpipe replaces the factory downpipe from the turbo outlet flange to the mid-pipe connection.
