Cold Air Intake For 2015-2018 Ford F-150 5.0L V8
The 5.0L Coyote V8 is Ford's best engine in the F-150 lineup — but the factory intake chokes it with a restrictive plastic tube, a paper panel filter, and a maze of resonance chambers designed for assembly-line cost, not airflow. This Flashark kit deletes the entire stock airbox and replaces it with a Φ89 mm (3.5") black powder-coated aluminum intake tube and an oversized red dry cone air filter.
Dyno testing confirms a repeatable 7–10% horsepower gain (27–40 HP on the stock Coyote) and a 6–8% torque improvement across the power band. The dual breather nipples (Φ10 mm and Φ16 mm) maintain correct PCV routing without drilling into the tube. The dry cotton gauze filter eliminates the risk of oil contamination to your MAF sensor.
Bolt-on installation uses factory mounting points. No cutting, no drilling, no tune required. All couplers, clamps, hardware, heat shield, and insulation are in the box.
