This AMD crossmember kit is engineered to install a Chrysler 518 overdrive automatic transmission into a Dodge or Plymouth Mopar A-Body car. Made from 3/16-inch thick steel, it replaces the factory transmission crossmember and provides the extra height and width needed for the 518 transmission.

The fully boxed section maintains structural integrity while requiring some fabrication and welding for installation. The kit includes the crossmember, lower transmission mount tab, Grade 8 hardware, and instructions, though the GM-style insulator is sold separately.
